A night at the races with High Limit is guaranteed to be a fun time for race fans of all ages! World-class sprint car teams and drivers battling on the greatest tracks in the country for big pay days. Add in Fan Fest, the Roulette Redraw Wheel, Hot Seat Questions, and the Durst Dice Roll and you have a night filled with on-track and off-track excitement!
Fan Fest
The extras start before wheel-to-wheel competition even begins. Nightly High Limit Racing Fan Fests bring the racers to the fans. Following the completion of qualifying, all full-time High Limit drivers - and many local drivers - leave the pit area and head straight to their merchandise trailers in the midway to spend time with fans before opening ceremonies begin. This is the perfect time for families to get a photo, an autograph (or several) and maybe a new addition to their closet from their favorite driver. As always, the pit area will be open to all fans following the final event of the night if there is a driver you missed during Fan Fest.
Roulette Redraw Wheel
After the night’s heat races wrap up and the six or eight drivers who have qualified for the FK Rod Ends Dash are determined, one of the favorite ‘off track’ events of a High Limit show begins. Cooked up in the wild mind of series announcer Chase Raudman, High Limit reinvented randomizing the starting order of the FK Rod Ends Dash by using the Roulette Redraw Wheel to determine the starting order for the FK Rod Ends Dash. Using an oversized and vertically mounted roulette wheel featuring 38 “slices”, drivers spin the Roulette Redraw Wheel with hopes of spinning the lowest value number. The driver who spins the lowest number will start on the pole of the FK Rod Ends Dash. But nobody knows where they will start until all drivers have spun. If a driver spins the green 00, however, he or she automatically earns the pole position for the FK Rod Ends Dash.
Hot Seat Question
Before a driver can spin the Roulette Redraw Wheel, however, he or she is first put on the “Hot Seat”. Announcer Tony LaPorta asks each driver participating in the redraw a random question that focuses more on their life off of the race track. Even better, each of these questions are submitted by fans! If you have a Hot Seat question for the High Limit Racing drivers, submit your question here.
Durst Dice Roll
The fun doesn’t stop once the Roulette Redraw Wheel gets put away. Each night, a fan will join the show, and if he or she is lucky, they’ll also join the winning driver in Victory Lane! For every High Limit Racing event, a fan who purchased his or her ticket online prior to race day is randomly selected to roll a pair of dice before the night’s feature race. Whatever number the dice add up to represents the starting position of that night's Durst Dice Roll driver. If the driver who starts the feature in the starting position rolled by the fan wins, then that fan and that driver split $5,000. Over the two years of the Durst Dice Roll, more than a dozen fans have left High Limit races with Durst dollars in their pocket. Buy your tickets online in advance, and you could be next!
Angel Donor
If a full-time High Limit Racing driver wins the feature event, an anonymous and generous Angel Donor donates $1,000 to the winning driver's charity of choice.
To date, more than $100,000 has been donated to charities across the country through the Angel Donor program. If you're interested in adding to any race night's Angel Donor donation, please email info@highlimitracing.com.
