July 13, 2022 - High Limit is Officially Announced

Kyle Larson and Brad Sweet formally announce the creation of High Limit Racing during a press conference at Eldora Speedway on Kings Royal weekend.

August 16, 2022 - First High Limit Race

The first-ever High Limit Racing event is held at Lincoln Park Speedway in Putnamville, Indiana with 35 cars in attendance. Alex Bowman earns QuickTime honors. Bowman, Justin Sanders, Kyle Larson, and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. win Heat Races.

Penngrove, California native Buddy Kofoid becomes the third different leader in the Crouch Motorsports #11 and banks $22,522 as the first winner in High Limit history. It's a California podium sweep with Aromas' Justin Sanders and Visalia's Cory Eliason finishing behind him.

December 15, 2022 - Midweek Schedule is Released

A 12-race schedule, featuring ten $23,023-to-win, $1,500-to-start and two $50,000-to-win, $2,000-to-start purses, is published. Midweek events are to be held at Tulare (CA), Lakeside (KS), 34 (IA), Kokomo (IN), Wayne County (OH), Tri-City (IL), Eagle (NE), Grandview (PA), Huset's (SD), Lernerville (PA), Bridgeport (NJ), and Lincoln Park (IN).

April 11, 2023 - Midweek Series Debuts at Lakeside

A 56-car field takes over Kansas City with High Limit launching onto the scene in a big way with Shane Stewart's Heartland of America Showdown presented by Team Trackhouse.

Giovanni Scelzi goes from 9th-to-1st in the KCP Racing #18 to score $50,000 in a thrilling opener. Carson Macedo goes from 22nd-to-2nd in the Jason Johnson Racing #41, while "Sunshine" Tyler Courtney rounds out the podium in the Clauson-Marshall Racing #7BC.

October 10, 2023 - Larson Edges Abreu for Title

The first season for High Limit Racing comes to a close where it all began at Lincoln Park Speedway in Putnamville, Indiana. Rico Abreu wins the battle, but Kyle Larson wins the war with a seven-point advantage to claim the inaugural High Limit Racing championship.

With 11 races completed, High Limit averaged a 42.4 car count and injected a whopping $1,167,914 into the sport.

Nine High Rollers competed at every event - Silva Motorsports #57, Rico Abreu Racing #24, Macri Motorsports #39M, Crouch Motorsports #11, Indy Race Parts #71, Buch Motorsports #13, Randall Motorsports #9, Western Flyer Express #5T, and Jordahl Racing #3J.

October 23, 2023 - High Limit Acquires All Stars

High Limit Racing announces the acquisition of the All Star Circuit of Champions. Tony Stewart hands control to Brad Sweet and Kyle Larson.

“We’ve learned a lot throughout our inaugural midweek season this year,” said Sweet. “We have a strong desire to expand on what we’ve learned and continue to contribute to and grow sprint car racing. Kyle and I, like Tony, believe in this sport and want to provide more opportunities for teams, drivers and tracks. We’re looking forward to more announcements coming soon.”

November 7, 2023 - High Limit Goes All-In

FloRacing takes a minority stake in High Limit Racing and the series announces it will go national in 2024 with 50+ races paying out more than $5 Million dollars, including a $1 Million dollar point fund. After five-consecutive World of Outlaws championships, Brad Sweet and the Kasey Kahne Racing, NAPA Auto Parts #49 flip to High Limit as the series' first full-time team.

“Brad (Sweet) and I literally grew up in this sport and our passion for sprint car racing runs deep,” said Larson. “The 2023 High Limit season went well, but we saw room for growth and more opportunities that were out there to make this division of racing stronger. Not only are we going to continue to run tight, highly-entertaining races for the fans, but we’re going to do it while raising purses and making the sport more financially viable for drivers and teams. On top of that, the partnership with FloSports will bring more eyeballs to our events and grow the sport overall. I can’t think of a much better situation for all involved.”

December 1, 2023 - The National Schedule is Posted

The 2024 High Limit Racing calendar is released with 60 dates scheduled at 36 tracks across 19 states.

Marquee events such as the Bob Weikert Memorial and Tuscarora 50 at Port Royal (PA) Speedway, the Joker's Jackpot at Eldora (OH) Speedway, the Gold Cup Race of Champions at Silver Dollar (CA) Speedway, and the Skagit Nationals at Skagit (WA) Speedway highlight the slate.

Other special races such as the Eagle Nationals, Rayce Rudeen Foundation Race, Don Martin Memorial Silver Cup, Stockyard Stampede, and 4-Crown Nationals now fall under the High Limit sanction.

February 12, 2024 - The National Era Begins

High Limit's first national tour is kicked off with 50+ sprint cars, including 16 full-time High Rollers, at East Bay Raceway Park in Tampa, Florida. Kyle Larson and Tyler Courtney split season-opening victories in the "Battle at the Bay."

March 21, 2024 - Kubota Named First Title Sponsor

The Kubota Tractor Corporation and their genuine parts become the first title sponsor of High Limit Racing, pairing the iconic orange equipment manufacturer with one of the fastest rising motorsports series in America.

“Successful partnerships in this sport are driven by authenticity and a true connection with the fan base,” said Sweet. “Kubota is a brand that our fans are familiar with and respect. Kubota is a brand that recognizes hard work, grit and getting the job done - all things that we are doing at High Limit Racing. We’re proud to showcase them, their logo and to grow with them for years to come.”

July 18, 2024 - High Limit International is Born

In the very spot where Sweet & Larson announced the creation of High Limit Racing in 2022, the duo came back to the Eldora Speedway media center to tell the world about High Limit International. A spectacular event coming to Western Australia's Perth Motorplex on December 28-30, which will be the highest-paying sprint car event in Australian Speedway history.

“The Perth Motorplex is extremely excited to be the first track outside of North America to host High Limit Racing,” said Gavin Migro, General Manager at Perth Motorplex. “We’re proud to host the nation’s first ever $100,000-to-win sprint car race, joining some of the world’s highest paying events. Australian Speedway fans are in for an absolute delight to witness some of the greatest sprint car racers in the world battling in the most remote capital city on the planet.”

October 13, 2024 - Brad Sweet Celebrates Title

Exactly eight months after the season began, all 16 High Rollers, their teams, and their families celebrated the inaugural national campaign with a Championship Awards Banquet at the Fort Worth Stockyards.

Brad Sweet and Kasey Kahne Racing earned their sixth consecutive national championship, and first with High Limit Racing.

November 4, 2024 - The 2025 Schedule Grows

The 2025 High Limit Racing slate increases to 61 events at 36 tracks in 20 states with 14 venues welcoming the series for the first time ever.

December 30, 2024 - Perth Welcomes High Limit

The inaugural High Limit International event turns into a smashing success in Western Australia. More than 35 Aussies take on several of America's best sprint car stars with the highest-payday in Australian Speedway history on the line at $100,000 AUD.

Northern Territory native James McFadden swept both prelim nights before Californian Kyle Larson scored the big win for local car owner, Jason Pryde in the #1K.

Perth and High Limit announce the event will grow in 2025 with a $110,000-to-win AUD finale.

March 13, 2025 - High Roller Club is Announced

At the season-opening event at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Brad Sweet, Kyle Larson, and FloRacing unveil the first details regarding the industry-changing "High Roller Club."

Effective in 2026, 10 team owners will enter the High Roller Club. Focused on creating a sustainable business model for its race teams, Interstate Batteries High Limit Racing will distribute up to $18 million dollars in total value over the next four years.

Maximum Investment of High Roller Club by year:
In 2026, the High Roller Club is set to pay up to $3,970,000 to teams.
In 2027, the High Roller Club is set to pay up to $4,322,500 to teams.
In 2028, the High Roller Club is set to pay up to $4,620,000 to teams.
In 2029, the High Roller Club is set to pay up to $5,032,500 to teams.

May 6, 2025 - DIRT II Documentary Stars High Limit

FOX Sports Films premieres DIRT II: A SEASON WITH HIGH LIMIT, the second season of the popular docuseries produced by FloSports Studios that shines a spotlight on dirt track racing’s biggest superstars. Sponsored by NOS Energy Drink, the series Kyle Larson, Brad Sweet, Rico Abreu, Corey Day, Tyler Courtney, Brent Marks, Justin Peck, Chris Windom, and many more.

July 17, 2025 - High Limit Debuts on National TV

In year two, High Limit Racing quickly finds the way to live national television as FloRacing's production of the $100,000-to-win Joker's Jackpot at Eldora Speedway is simulated on Flo and the Fox Sports 1 network.

Kyle Larson wins the race after battling with Rico Abreu before the largest viewership in series history at that point.

September 17, 2025 - Rico Brings TSR to High Limit

After 300+ World of Outlaws wins and nine championships - most notably with Donny Schatz - Tony Stewart/Curb-Agajanian Racing announces a switch to Interstate Batteries High Limit Racing for the 2026 season with Rico Abreu to drive the TSR #24.

“Obviously, this move brings TSR to High Limit and I feel like that will have a huge impact for the series,” Abreu mentioned. “The new Franchise System is already proving to elevate the series, and I’m confident the growth of the series will continue with another top tier team switching.”

October 18, 2025 - Rico Reaches the Mountaintop

Amidst an all-time great title fight, St. Helena, California's Rico Abreu claims his first-career national sprint car championship with a walk-off win in the season finale at the Texas Motor Speedway.

The Rico Abreu Racing #24 team topped 13 races and fended off the Ridge & Sons Racing #87, the Kasey Kahne Racing #49, the Clauson-Marshall Racing #7BC, the Brent Marks Racing #19, and the Rudeen Racing #26 in an unforgettable points battle.

November 3, 2025 - The 2026 Schedule is Unveiled

The largest Interstate Batteries High Limit Racing campaign yet features 66 dates at 33 tracks in 21 states.

Las Vegas' Blackjack Bash and Texas' All-In Championship Weekend continue to bookend the season with marquee events at Port Royal, Eldora, Silver Dollar, and Skagit all growing in stature. The Roto-Rooter Midweek Series expands to 15 events anchored by the Eagle Nationals.

The Jesse Hockett/Daniel McMillin Memorial at Lucas Oil Speedway and Bryan Clauson Hero Classic at Kokomo Speedway join the slate for the first time as High Limit honors the late legends.

December 11, 2025 - Spire Buys in High Roller Club

The industry-changing "High Roller Club" allows Spire Motorsports to purchase Jason Meyers Racing membership card and brings instant revenue to a brand new sprint car team. A staple in the NASCAR garage, owner Jeff Dickerson hires Giovanni Scelzi to drive the Chili's sponsored #77 and pairs "Hot Sauce" with six-time national champion crew chief Eric Prutzman.

December 30, 2025 - Perth Receives Global Fanfare

The second annual High Limit International thrills fans worldwide on FloRacing with an all-time great race at a nearly sold-out Perth Motorplex between Kyle Larson, Corey Day, Buddy Kofoid, and Dayne Kingshott.

The third annual event is announced to return in 2026 with the prelims paying $20,000-to-win and the finale offering a $120,000-to-win AUD prize, another record for the highest-paying event in Australian Speedway history.

Kyle Larson climbs out and says "This is the best track in the world."

January 17, 2026 - FS1 Live Television Deal Grows

After a successful debut in 2025, FloSports and Fox Sports 1 announce that Interstate Batteries High Limit Racing will co-broadcast six events in 2026 on the live national television network.

New Mexico's Vado Speedway Park on March 24, Nebraska's Eagle Raceway on April 21, Pennsylvania's Grandview Speedway on May 19, Wisconsin's Red Cedar Speedway on June 3, Ohio's Eldora Speedway on July 16, and Indiana's Kokomo Speedway on September 23 will bring sprint car racing to more eyes than ever.

February 11, 2026 - Interstate Batteries is All-In

Interstate Batteries has gone all in on the national sprint car scene by becoming the title sponsor of the elite 410 winged sprint car series through an agreement with FloSports, which streams High Limit Racing exclusively on FloRacing.

“Motorsports has always been a strong outlet for Interstate Batteries to connect with our customers, and High Limit Racing has quickly established itself. It delivers an authentic setting where reliability is not optional, reflective of how and where our products are used in demanding environments. It’s why we’re proud to be the title sponsor of sprint car racing’s premier series,” said Lain Hancock, President and CEO, Interstate Batteries.
