Ricky Warner Adds Another Cometic Gasket Crew Chief of the Month Award in April
Tony Stewart/Curb-Agajanian Racing #24 Team Out-Point All High Rollers in April
Finishes of sixth at Lucas Oil Speedway, eighth at Eagle Raceway, and second at Texas Motor Speedway was enough for Rico Abreu to supply to Ricky Warner with Cometic Gasket Crew Chief of the Month honors in April.
The National Sprint Car Hall of Fame Inductee is now matched with his former prodigy, Eric Prutzman, with five awards in this category. Warner is now the only crew chief to win the award in every year since its inception in 2024.
Warner joins Prutzman (June 2024 w/ Brad Sweet), Stevie Smith (June 2025 w/ Tanner Thorson), and Jake Argo (July 2025 w/ Tyler Courtney & Cole Duncan) to earn the monthly award without visiting Whiskey Myers Victory Lane in Interstate Batteries High Limit Racing competition.
Out-pointing everyone in April, the Tony Stewart/Curb-Agajanian Racing #24 now sits 40-points out of the championship lead as Abreu chases back-to-back titles with the series.
The Cometic Gasket Crew Chief of the Month standings have already reset as the calendar flipped to April with nine races planned. Aaron Reutzel has already jumped out to the lead after winning the Stockyard Stampede finale at Texas Motor Speedway. Now the series will visit Kokomo Speedway (IN) on Friday-Saturday, May 8-9, Grandview Speedway (PA) on Tuesday, May 19, Port Royal Speedway (PA) on Friday-Sunday, May 22-24, Lawrenceburg Speedway (IN) on Friday, May 29, and Butler Motor Speedway (MI) on Saturday, May 29.
