STARTING HOT: Justin Peck & Rudeen Racing Look to Carry ASCS Momentum into High Limit Success

MOORESVILLE, NC. (March 1, 2026) – Like last year, Justin Peck and Rudeen Racing are already multi-time winners before the Interstate Batteries High Limit Racing season begins. As they cap off the Sonoran Clash with the American Sprint Car Series on Sunday at Central Arizona Raceway, they’re chasing their third score in four tries at the Casa Grande circuit - where High Limit visits for a three-day Cactus Clash on March 19-21.

“I think it definitely helps with confidence,” Peck said of his desert successes. “We went to Volusia and night one had some mechanical problems, ran eighth on night two, and then had some more problems on night three. If that’s all we had under our belt, I’d feel kind of nervous showing up to Vegas. I felt like if we came out here to a track that High Limit goes to anyways that it would be good to get laps and figure out our program. It’s good to know that most of our 410 setups translate to the 360 stuff. It’s obviously going to be tougher when we get to Vegas, but this gives us a shot of confidence and I feel like we can roll the car out and be fast from the jump.”

If you rewind to last year’s pre-season, Peck and Rudeen swept all three nights with ASCS during the DIRTcar Nationals before they went west to Las Vegas. That hot start catapulted them to a pair of High Limit victories at Ransomville (N.Y.) Speedway and Butler (Mich.) Motor Speedway in the month of May, putting them squarely in a six-team war for the championship lead (-68 points) entering June. Ultimately, the No. 26 team ended sixth in the owner points sending Peck into the off-season adamantly focused on cleaning up his consistency this year.

“My biggest expectation is to be more consistent,” he added. “Last year we had moments of speed, we’d win some races, knock on the door a lot, but then we’d be buried back around 20th for a few races in a row. You can’t allow that to happen if you want to compete for a championship. We need to eliminate that and just put ourselves in contention night in and night out. The more you’re up front, the more you’re eventually going to win. I’d like to get Kevin and Monika [Rudeen] into the top-five for owner points and that starts with winning races and improving all our stats.”

Marking his second season aboard the unmistakable Rudeen Racing No. 26, Peck’s team will look slightly different this year as he elevates a new crew chief and brings family into the fold.

“In the off-season Tyler [Tessemaker] moved over to lead Levi [Hillier’s] team in Washington, so we bumped Brandon [Hickman] up to crew chief, hired my brother [Travis Peck] for car chief, and then A-Rod [Aaron Beiler] is still our tire specialist. It’s been pretty good so far. We went down to Volusia and kind of laid a goose egg, but not because we were slow, just fighting gremlins. Coming to Arizona to get some extra races as a crew and work out the bugs has been a good decision.”

Justin’s 2026 Interstate Batteries High Limit Racing season officially opens with the SugarBee Blackjack Bash at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on March 12-14 during NASCAR weekend. The 65-race tour will criss-cross the country for eight months before concluding with the All-In Championship Weekend at Texas Motor Speedway on October 16-17. Fans can buy pre-sale event tickets, which enters you for a chance to be selected for the DURST Dice Roll, by clicking here.

Earning the eighth ranked membership across the 2024-25 seasons, Rudeen Racing holds the ‘7 card’ worth a guaranteed $200,000 payout in the inaugural season of the High Roller Club. Their finish this year will combine with last year to determine the 2027 card rankings when the value of the top-10 cards jump to a total of $2,925,000 - making every single point extra valuable.
