Shane Golobic, a Fremont, California native, is an accomplished winged/non-winged sprint car and midget racer. Golobic, 25, is a talented and respected young driver with ability to adapt to various racing surfaces and cars. Shane is also a graduate of San Jose State University, where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. His passion for designing, building, and adjusting race cars matches his passion for being behind the wheel. Golobic made his Chili Bowl debut in 2010, driving for Bryan Clauson Inc. His best finish is 7th in 2013, and he has made the A-Main three times. Golobic is looking to continue his success at the Chili Bowl and will be piloting the Clauson-Marshall Racing No. 17w in 2017.
