Skagit Nationals Sweep Helps Ricky Warner Attain August's Cometic Gasket Crew Chief of the Month

Five months into the 2025 Kubota High Limit Racing season, the first multi-time recipient of the Cometic Gasket Crew Chief of the Month Award has surfaced - and it's none other than Hall of Famer, "Tricky" Ricky Warner.

After a rough start to the west coast swing in California, the legendary wrench of the Rico Abreu Racing #24 led the way for an epic weekend at the Skagit Nationals - sweeping all three nights of the event, clearing $156,000 in earnings, and surging to the championship lead for the first time ever in RAR history.

Warner is the first to earn two of the $500 monthly bonuses in 2025 - also topping May's standings when Abreu added four of his now nine victories. On the all-time list, Eric Prutzman formerly of Kasey Kahne Racing (5), Ricky Warner (3), and Jake Argo of Clauson-Marshall Racing (2) are the only multi-time winners.

The standings have already been reset for the month of September with the Tuscarora 50 at Port Royal Speedway and Commonwealth Clash at Lernerville Speedway in the rear view mirror. Another five races are left this month including trips to Lawrenceburg Speedway on Wednesday, September 17, Eldora Speedway on Friday & Saturday, September 19-20, Bridgeport Motorsports Park on September 27, and Path Valley Speedway Park on September 28.
